Fatma Mostafa fuses traditional metalsmithing with intricate embroidery to create wearable works of art. The Egyptian jeweller launched her eponymous label in 2017, leaning on her needlework lessons from childhood and deep appreciation for the Impressionist movement to inform her designs – positive attention from critics saw her win the Fashion Trust Arabia Jewellery award in 2022. Necklaces, earrings and rings are cast in 24kt gold-plated copper, then decorated with hand-stitched accents and freshwater pearls for an artistic twist. Look out for pieces from the ‘Water Lily’ collection that recall the ethereal look of Claude Monet’s famous oil paintings.
